Wall Street magazine reports that North Korea has rejected nearly three million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine manufactured by China's Sinovac Biotech.
According to the organization that distributes the vaccine on behalf of the COVAX program, the nation has said the vaccines should be sent to countries most affected by the coronavirus. In July, North Korea rejected AstraZeneca vaccines out of fear of its side effects.
The country, which is largely isolated from other countries in the world, has not reported any cases of coronavirus infection and has taken strict measures to control the virus, including closing its borders and restricting domestic travel.
