R Kelly's lawyer has compared him to civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. in the final argument of a sexual assault case against the singer.
Deveraux Cannick said all the men held the government accountable and urged lawyers to be bold.
The singer, 54, denies all charges against him in the case.
The prosecutor concluded his argument with a simple message: "Judge", after which he said he should pay for "the pain he caused to each of his victims".
Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, is accused of sexually abusing young women and girls.
The charges include one count of robbery and eight counts of illegal trafficking in states for the purpose of having sex with them.
