R Kelly's lawyer has compared him to civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. in the final argument of a sexual assault case against the singer.

The singer, 54, denies all charges against him in the case.
The prosecutor concluded his argument with a simple message: "Judge", after which he said he should pay for "the pain he caused to each of his victims".
Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, is accused of sexually abusing young women and girls.
