The ancient coffin of an Egyptian priest discovered last year has been put on display for the first time since the Dubai exhibition.
The coffin of priest Psamtik was among 27 colored coffins that were recently discovered in the Saqqara district of the capital Cairo known as the site of ancient tombs of pharaohs and kings.
Given the pseudonym of the doctor, Psamtik served as the chief medical officer of Tutankhamun.
The Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities has described the discovery of the largest and most important inventions in recent years.
The Dubai exhibition is the world's largest convention to be held since the beginning of the Covid-19 scandal, where more than 190 countries showcase their culture and ambitions in hopes of attracting investors.
With Egypt being a major invention and a great investment opportunity to exhibit in its exhibition pavilion, it is a coffin that has become a major attraction — with visitors waiting in long lines to view it.
"It's worth waiting to be able to see this historic coffin that used thousands of years ago," one tourist said.
