Twitter has shut down a well-known author of books in the United States, Dr. Naomi Wolf after spreading misinformation about the corona vaccine.
Dr. Wolf, who has continued to hit the headlines in the United States for his book that criticizes many issues about the corona vaccine called 'The Beauty Myth'.
Using his Twitter account with more than 140,000 followers, the author also likened Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the top advisers on Covid issues in the United States and the devil.
He also recently posted on his Twitter page the urine and feces of people who have been vaccinated against the corona vaccine stating that it should be separated from unvaccinated people.
Dr. Wolf is just one of many celebrities who have been shut down from their networks for publishing false information.
What are some of the celebrities who have been hit by a lockout of their accounts?
Donald Trump
Former United States President Donald Trump is best known for publishing complex information, especially during his presidency.
He is one of the most influential people who ever used social media to spread the word with more than 88 million followers, but the complexity of his posts caused Twitter to shut him down and scrutinize him.
He published a statement allegedly inciting violence, following his opposition to the US general election results, which gave him the victory, Joe Biden.
In one of his messages, he wrote: "The 75,000,000 American Patriots who voted for me, America First, Make America better again, they will have an audible voice in the future. They will not be disrespected or taken for granted in any way !!!".
The Twitter network said the message was "interpreted as a further sign that President Trump has no plans to ensure a 'peaceful transfer of power'".
In another message the president wrote: "For all those who have asked, I will not attend the swearing-in ceremony on January 20."
Mohammadu Buhari
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and recently met with a Twitter account to remove some of his posts and hold his account for allegedly publishing provocative reports especially in the South East of the country.
One of President Buhari's posts, which was shouted at, was one in which he accused citizens of the South East region of Nigeria of attacking and destroying government infrastructure.
"Most of the perpetrators do not fully understand the effects and deaths that occurred during the civil war. Most of us who were on the scene for 30 months and fought in the war, we will speak to them in a language they will understand," Buhari said on the website.
Many Nigerians have taken to Twitter, demanding that the post be removed as it is a threat to the war.
After Twitter took action, the country's government responded to the blows by blocking Twitter activities in the country.
It is reported that the country has more than 39 million Twitter users, many of whom now after the network was shut down in Nigeria have begun using the VPN method to access the network.
Rocker Courtney Love
The veteran American singer was the first artist to be indicted after posting a post mocking one of the country's fashionistas.
