This was stated today by the country's Minister of Health, Dr. Dorothy Gwajima while speaking to reporters today to discuss the state of responsibility in taking action against the coronavirus.
"Let's not take it lightly why the first and second waves passed and I am here and there is, there are many of us who have gone through those waves, you remain for God's purpose and even today there are those who have passed and yesterday there are those who have passed."
"It should also be noted that people do not die, of course, and according to figures on July 21, the figure indicates that 29 people have died of coronary heart disease."
"The coronavirus is changing and varying the severity of the attack so he said we should not give our bodies extra work that you are exhausting the body just by letting it go," said Minister Gwajima.
He said that on July 21, Tanzania had 682 patients, two weeks before they were 408 patients, so he said this was a sign that the number of patients was increasing.
'' This is the number that has reached us and we know some of our stations are far away, the figures until they bring you are not today. But some people are sick at home and do not get to the centers.
But also yesterday only Dr. Gwajima said there are 176 hospitalized patients across the country, let alone those who are sick at home.
Regarding taking precautionary measures against the coronavirus, Minister Gwajima said leaders in their areas have a responsibility to ensure that appropriate action is taken to combat the corona epidemic.
"The government will not continue to tolerate seeing some leaders who are not fulfilling their responsibilities in the fight against Uviko 19," said Dr. Gwajima.
