but Diamond is not upset by his critics and says he "doesn't take it personally".
Diamond was asked to stand as an MP but said "that's not his profession".
Now then, where does Diamond see himself in the next 10 years?
"I always wanted to prove to young Africans that you can use music in a very positive way, use music to employ more people, and become one of the richest people in the world - like Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates," he said.
