The Facebook company has said a team of Afghan experts is monitoring and removing all content related to the group.
Facebook has hinted that the policy applies to all other platforms of their networks including Instagram and WhatsApp.
However, there are reports that the Taliban is using the WhatsApp communication platform to communicate.
Facebook has told the BBC it will take action if it detects an account on mobile apps linked to the group.
Opposing social media platforms such as Twitter and Youtube have also begun to monitor closely how to deal with Taliban group content.
