A Zambian journalist has donated $ 4m (£ 3m) found in her home last month as part of a corruption pardon agreement, officials have announced.
Margaret Chisela Musonda, also known as Faith Musonda, has also surrendered her luxury home in the capital, Lusaka, where a sum of the country's currency and US dollars were recovered.
Officials did not disclose how he got the money and his mistakes but said he had confessed.
Ms. Musonda is a well-known journalist who previously served in a state-run news agency. He has not commented on the matter.
In a statement, the joint intelligence team said the agreement would enable Ms. Musonda to avoid criminal proceedings.
It said the law allows the government to "grant amnesty to suspects in certain circumstances on the condition that they admit wrongdoing and repay what they have received incorrectly through corrupt practices".
The team included officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Zambian Police Service, the Anti-Drug Commission, and the Financial Intelligence Center.
Zambians on social media have expressed mixed feelings about the agreement:
Faith Musonda issue not pleasant at all. How much money has she remained with hidden in her accounts and other places? Let's fight corruption seriously. @HHichilema the public want full disclosure.

I am under no illusion that whatever is recovered is a figment of a larger stake that will still cushion those found wanting #Zambia
